As promised, this release gives you the new Partner Groups feature, a new way to organize your Partners. The Ad space list is gone in Ad media management. Partner Groups takes its place.

Partner Groups

Partner Groups are the new way to organize your Partners.

You can create, edit and delete Partner Groups in the Partner Groups management section. Just click the Partner Groups menu under Advertisers – Partner Groups or click the Partner Groups icon in the commercial section of the Advertiser management. Everything you need to know about Partner Groups can be found in the documentation.

Ad space list in Ad media management replaced by Partner Groups

Gone are the times were you had to manage visibility of Ad media kits with individual lists of Ad spaces. Let’s be honest. It was a pain. Now you can organize your Partners in groups and then assign these groups to several Ad media kits. Modifying the visibility of multiple Ad media kits is now as easy as editing the single Partner Group that is assigned to them.

What happened to my Ad space lists?

Worry not. The Ad space lists you defined where converted into Partner Groups. If you go to the Partner Group management you will see Partner Groups with weird names (We were never any good at naming stuff).

If you were excessively using Ad space lists then you’ll see a lot of these. Each of these Partner Groups represent exactly one Ad space list on one Ad media kit.

What if I want my old Ad space lists back?

You don’t. Trust me. (However you can still create a single Partner Group with a specific lists of Ad spaces as a rule for each Ad media kit if you wanted to)

I do not see Partner Groups in the Menu. What did I do wrong?

You didn’t do anything wrong. On the release day we are slowly rolling out Partner Groups. Part of this process is distributing Partner Groups rights to the administrators of your platform. It is then their responsibility to distribute these rights to other users of the platform. If in doubt contact your platform administrator.
