What are static sites?

The static site is displayed at the top of the dashboard of the partner UI. You can use it to display the name of your platform and communicate general information about your platform, or write a welcome message.

In the screenshot below, an example of a static site is highlighted in the red rectangle:

Static sites and UI languages

You can create a static site for every language in which the admin and partner UI are available. Currently, English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. For languages you did not create a static site for, the English version will be used. This means that when you have created static site in English and Dutch, partners using their UI in French will see the English static site.

Getting started

Make sure you are logged in to your admin UI and go to the administration section of the navigation menu. Click on ‘configuration’ and proceed to click on ‘static sites’. If you do so, you will see a page looking more or less like this:

This page provides you an overview of all the static sites you have created so far and it allows you to create new ones.

Creating a static site

To create a static site, click on the button ‘create new static site’ on the overview page. If you do so, a new panel will open up on which you need to take the following steps:

  • Select the UI language for which you want to create a static site. As was mentioned above, you can only create static sites for the available UI languages and your English static site will be used as default.

  • Select the status of your site. If you select ‘active’ the static site will become visible on the dashboard of the partners immediately after you’ve saved it. In case you did not yet finish your static site, you can use the ‘inactive’ status to save.

  • Under ‘content’, you will find a small text editor which allows you to create your static site. Please note the editor allows you to use anchors, images, tables, HTML code and placeholders for time and dates.

After you’ve created your static site, don’t forget to hit ‘save’ in the right lower corner of the panel.

Editing a static site

To edit a static site, make sure you are on the overview page of the static site and click on the  icon in the row of the static site you want to edit. If you do so, the panel you used to create a static site will open up again. Here, you can change the UI language, the status and adjust the text of the site using the editor. When you are ready editing, don’t forget to hit ‘save’ in the right lower corner of the panel.
