Log in to your Hover account
If you have more than one domain in your Hover account, click on the domain name that you would like to use for your custom domain.
Check your Domain Details to verify your nameservers are set to ns1.hover.com and ns2.hover.com
Click on the DNS tab
Click on Add New to add a new DNS record
Enter the Hostname:
Host is the subdomain to which the CNAME applies
For example, you'd enter "
try
" if you're using "try.mysite.com
"If you're using the root domain, enter "www"
Select CNAME for the Record Type
Paste in the target CNAME URL provided by the Ingenious for the Target Host
Click Save in the Add New window
Changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate across the internet

Setting Up Your Hosting with Hover if You're Using a Root Domain (www)
If you're using a root domain (like "www.mysite.com ") you might want to set up the naked domain, so that visitors who don't add the "www" will still be directed to your landing pages. To do that, you'll need to set up an A Record in Hover:
Make sure you've completed Steps 1-9 above (skip to step 6 below if you're already on the Manage DNS page)
Log in to your Hover account

Hover over the existing @ A Record and click edit DNS
Enter 54.84.104.245 for IP Address
Click Save
