Before you start

There is one really important thing you need to know in relation to advertiser programs. You apply for programs with an ad space. This means your acceptance or denial for an advertiser program relates to your ad space, not to your partner account as a whole. If you have more than one ad space, make sure you apply for programs with all of them individually.

Getting started

You reach the advertiser programs by simply clicking on ‘programs’ in the main navigation. If you do so, you will see a page looking more or less like this:

By default, the list you see here will contain all advertiser programs available in the platform. From left to right, you will find the following properties:

  • The status informs you whether the program is active, deactivated or deleted. If you haven’t applied for the program yet or if you are waiting for your application to be accepted, you’ll see a question mark.

  • Next to the status you will find the advertiser’s logo, the name of the advertiser and, below it, one or more labels.

  • Further to the right, you’ll find a set of icons:

    • If you click on the icon, you will be taken to the advertiser’s website.

    • If you have been accepted, you will find the  icon, via which you have access to the advertiser’s ad media.

    • Via the  icon, you can access the product data of the advertiser. Please note not all advertiser offer product data feeds.

    • You can find information on the advertiser’s commission model via the icon.

    • If the advertiser has enabled third party tracking, you’ll be able to work with your own tracking codes via the  icon.

  • Finally, on the right, you will find a description of the status of your relationship with the advertiser. When you did not apply for the for the advertiser yet, you will see a button here which allows you to start the application directly.

Finding advertiser programs

In some cases, you will be able to find the advertiser program in the default list immediately. In other cases, this list will be very long and you might want to use the filter panel. If you click on filter options, you will find the filter panel looks more or less like this:

Let’s go through all the options one by one:

  • Right next to the filter options button, you can change your ad space. Remember your admittance to a program is related to your individual ad spaces, not to your partner account? In case you have multiple ad spaces, you can use this tool to see what programs you have been accepted for and what programs you can still apply for.

  • Further to the right, there is a search field you can use to find a specific advertiser, using the name or description. Please note the search is limited to the output you create by adjusting the filter options.

  • In the filter options themselves, you have the following options:

    • You can filter advertiser programs by country, i.e. the market in which they are active.

    • You can filter for specific advertisers only.

    • You can filter advertiser programs by advertiser category.

    • You can filter advertiser programs by label.

    • You can choose to display all advertiser programs, programs for which you have been accepted yet and programs for which you still need apply.

When you are ready with your filter settings, just hit the button search in the left lower corner.

Applying for a program

To apply for a program, you need to click the ‘apply’ button on the outmost right, in the row of the advertiser you want to apply for. As soon as you do this, you will see a page containing everything you need to know about the program: product categories, commission models, information on cookie lifetime, etc. To verify your application, all you have to do is to confirm you’ve read the terms and conditions and click the button ‘apply now’ at the bottom of the page.

After you’ve done this, you’ll be taken back to the overview of advertiser programs. You’ll notice the status of the program you’ve applied for is changed. How long it will take before you are confirmed as a partner will vary from platform to platform, but if you are, you will receive an automated email.
