Working with ad space registration
Before you start
What is ad space registration?
Normally, partners can apply to advertisers with an ad space directly after they register it. If you activate ad space registration, you can review newly added ad spaces before partners are able to apply to advertisers.
By default, the ad space registration is deactivated. You can change this by changing the platform settings. Please note that you need the appropriate rights to be able to do so.

Getting started
Make sure you are logged in to your admin UI, click on ‘configuration’ in the administration section of the main menu and subsequently click on ‘platform’. If you do not see this option, you might not have the appropriate role to adjust the platform settings.
If the page with the platform settings loads, find the panel called ‘partner registration’. For more information on the platform settings, please read this article.
Activate ad space registration
In the panel ‘partner registration’, click the box next to ‘review newly registered ad spaces’. Go to the bottom of the page and click on ‘save’. After you have done so, you will find the partner section in the main navigation has a new menu point called ‘ad space registration’.
Deactivating ad space registration
If ad space registration is activated, you will find the box next to ‘review newly registered ad spaces’ in the ‘partner registration’. Untick it and click on save. After you have done so, you will find the menu point ‘ad space registration’ in the partner section of the main navigation has been removed.
In order to have access to the new function, you need to make sure that the role has the rights to access the new feature.
Reviewing ad spaces
Getting started
If you haven’t already done so, login to your admin UI, click on ‘partner’ in the main navigation menu and proceed to click on ‘admit new ad spaces’. If you do so, you will see a page looking more or less like this:
As you can see, the page contains multiple panels, each representing an ad space a partner registered and needs you to review.
For the ad space, you will find the following information:
The name and ULR of the ad space.
The application date, i.e. the date on which the partner registered the new ad space.
Furthermore, the panel also contains the following information on the partner:
The name of the company and its spokesperson, along with the official email address.
Potentially, a phone number.
The user ID (UID) of the partner.
Please note that you can directly login to the partner’s account by clicking on ‘login as partner’.
Finally, the panel gives you an overview of all the ad spaces the partner previously registered, including both the accepted and the rejected ones, along with the dates on which they were reviewed. By default, the oldest registrations are displayed on top. For the rejected ad spaces, you can display the reason of the rejection by hovering over the icon.
Please note that you can search for a specific ad space or partner by using the search box at the right top corner of the page.
Accepting an ad space
To accept a new ad space, start by selecting a subcategory for the ad space. If you do so, the tracking channel is selected automatically. You can adjust the tracking channel, but it is recommended to do this only in exceptional cases. After you have categorized the ad space, proceed to click on ‘accept’.
If you do so, this will have the following consequences:
The panel will disappear from the ad space registration page.
The partner will receive an email informing that the ad space has been accepted and available to apply to advertisers. This email is based on the email templates of the platform.
The ad space can now be found and managed in all other features of the platform.
Rejecting an ad space
If you choose to reject an ad space registration, you don’t need to select an ad space subcategory. All you need to do is click on ‘reject’.
Doing this will have the following consequences:
The panel will disappear from the ad space registration page.
The partner will receive an email informing that the ad space has been rejected. This email is based on the email templates of the platform.
The partner will not be able to apply for advertisers with the ad space.
Please note that although the ad space cannot be used for any feature on the platform, partners can ask to review the ad space again. This gives you the opportunity to give feedback. If partners adopt your feedback and re-apply, you can accept the ad space.
