Edit a partners ad space data
Before you start
When partners sign up for your platform, they will register at least one ad space. The ad space can be a partner’s website, but it can also be an SEO channel or a mobile application. After partners have been accepted to your platform, they can register additional ad spaces and apply with them for the advertiser programs on your platform.
Getting started
Make sure you are logged in to your admin UI, click on ‘partner’ in the main navigation menu and proceed to click on ‘manage partner’. Find the partner who’s ad space you want to edit using the filter options. When you’ve found the partner you were looking for, click on the icon on the left of the entry of the partner in the overview.
Ad space properties
If you do so, you will see a panel opening up looking more or less like this:
This panel gives you an overview of all the ad space data. From left to right, you will see:
The ID of the ad space (PID).
The name of the ad space, as given by the partner.
The URL of the ad space or – in case the ad space is a mobile app or newsletter – the URL of the related website.
The status of the ad space (active or deactivated).
Finally, you will find whether the ad space you are looking at is the partner’s default ad space.
Via the icon, you can open a panel in which you can edit the ad space.
If you click on the icon, you will be taken to the partner relationship page on which you will be able to see for what advertiser programs this ad space has been accepted.
Editing an ad space
To start editing an ad space, click on the icon in the row of the ad space you want to edit. If you do so, a panel will open up looking more or less like this:
As you can see in the image, you can edit all the ad space properties above. Furthermore, you can also adjust the country of promotion and the tracking channel. Please note the tracking channel is connected to the subcategory automatically. It should only be changed when there is an urgent need to do so.
When you are ready, don’t forget to click on ‘save’ at the bottom of the page.
