Raise a new request via Conversion Request Explorer
Before you start
There are two scenarios of how a single Conversion Request can be used:
you want to create a new Conversion that does not exist in the platform.
you want to change an existing Conversion
If you want to create or update multiple Conversion Requests, you can use the Conversion Request Import.
How to raise a new Conversion Request
The Conversion Request Explorer allows you to raise a new request.
Go to the Conversion Request Explorer and click on the
create
button in the top right cornerAfter you have clicked on the
create
button, you will be redirected to the following page.
On that page, you need to check whether the Conversion is already existing in the platform or not.
Choose an Advertiser first
Enter your
Conversion Id
to proceedBased on the result of this check, you can continue with creating or updating a Conversion by the new request.
Request a change
Click on the button Request a change
to proceed with that Conversion and create a change request. All data of the Conversion will be loaded in the following form, consisting of 4 steps.
The first step allows you to request changes on target
and category
as well the status
, amount
, discount
, and gross amount
. This is triggering a complete re-calculation of the Conversion. For Conversions in status “Open”, a time for automatic approval
can be added or changed.
In the second step, you can modify the data of the corresponding partner for this Conversion. You can change the calculated category
and fee
as well all common Touchpoint fields like sub id 1-4
, device
, referrer
, etc.
All additional fields for this Conversion can be changed in the third step. This includes typical customer data
and further free text fields like user value 1-4
, referrer
, and site id
of this Conversion
By the last step, you are able to add comments
and attachments
to this request.
Once you have finished all steps, you can raise this new Conversion Request by clicking the button Create request
. Please keep in mind that a new Conversion Request needs to be “accepted” by the platform admin. You can check the current status of your request in the Conversion Request Explorer.
Request a new Conversion
There is no Conversion in the platform that matches with the Id that you have entered?
You can click on the button Request a new Conversion
in order to create a new Conversion by the same steps as before.
